Curvy Yoga classes are low key and fun as we work to connect breath to movement, focus on alignment and variations of poses to find a body positive practice that feels safe and supported. Ask Elen Bahr what she does for a living and she’ll tell you “I help people feel better in their bodies.” After decades of being terrified of yoga, she stepped onto a mat in 2010 and has been practicing ever since.
Kris Anne began her yoga practice in 2012. As an avid runner, she was thrilled to discover how well yoga complimented her training. After an injury led her to hang up her sneakers, she turned to yoga to maintain strength and agility.
“I am interested in teaching to people who are bravely approaching movement for the first time, or maybe after a long break. I am interested in creating a safe space for people in larger bodies who want to see what this yoga thing is all about.”
