How to Take Your Own Measurements

What you'll need:

Junoactive plus size women's clothing items you need to help find your measurements

How to measure: Utilize the string for all your measurements. After marking the string, lay it flat on the tape measure to read and record your measurement. (You can also opt to just use the tape measure for measuring, although some find using a string to be simpler.)

Bust: While wearing a bra, measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape measure is parallel to the ground. Keep your arms down by your sides during the measurement, as raising them can lead to a smaller reading. Ensure the tape measure is not pulled too tightly.

Waist: Gently bend to the side to locate where your body naturally creases, indicating your waistline. This typically falls between the belly button and the ribs. Ensure the tape measure is parallel to the floor and avoid pulling it too tightly.

Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hip, ensuring the tape measure is parallel to the floor. Be mindful not to pull the tape measure too tightly.

Inseam: To find your inseam, measure a well-fitting pair of pants from the crotch seam to the bottom hem.
